LOVING LATELY: NARS SHEER GLOW






I wanted to do a mini review on the Nars Sheer Glow foundation. I've been wanting to create a segment on my blog where I just do a little post about products/things that I've been loving lately and what better way to start than by reviewing a NARS product! 

I got this foundation a little while back from Mecca Maxima after trying the product out in store and taking a sample of the foundation home. I find it really helpful if I try and wear the foundation a couple of times under different lighting and weather, just to see the pros and cons of a foundation. I use the colour Barcelona, I would highly recommend that you get the foundation tested on your face in store before getting it because the colour in the packaging can be slightly deceiving. 

The foundation itself is amazing, not only is it light and therefore goes on the skin easily but it also gives medium to full coverage, which is something that I absolutely need in a foundation! I personally think this foundation works perfectly with all skin types since it is made for dry skin, however I have oily skin and it works perfectly for me. I do powder my skin after I apply the foundation, so if you have oily skin and powdering isn't part of your routine, then you may find that the foundation becomes shinny/oily at certain parts of your face.

SPORTING IT OUT // MY WORKOUT ROUTINE




Working out and trying to maintain a healthy life style is something I've been trying to get back into recently. My workout routine consists of pilates and cardio for 30-45 minutes. Pilates helps strengthen the core and muscles and cardio which burns fat in order for the muscle to show. I think having good music and a good location is one of the best ways to maximise your workout routine. I always make sure to have up beat music going on when I'm working out and changing the location up a little bit always helps!
