BALMAIN FALL 2016

Untitled #4685

Oliver Rousteing really out did himself with his 2016 Ready-to-wear Fall collection. I love the range of colours he used, pastels are defiantly making a come back again and I'm pumped to say the least. The shoes every model wore were honestly so unique and yet trendy, he was able incorporate the trendy over the knee boots but by making them go all the way up the legs he made them look classy with the lack of skin showing. I also LOVED the textures Oliver used, the fur on skirts as well as frills on all the dresses spoke of true elegance. The excessive amount of detail present in the suit jackets and trousers really spoke out to me since it was something that has been done before, however not in this manner and not in a runway like Balmain's. Chokers are something that are in this season, and Oliver's did a perfect job in making chokers that look sophisticated. Overall, Oliver showed that trendy doesn't necessarily mean trashy.

Which runway was your favourite this season? Let me know in the comments
