SPRING LIP PRODUCTS

L to R | urban decay lip gloss in savage
nyx lipstick in sweet tart
inglot lipstick in 110

Although it's fall here in Australia, I thought I would share my top three lip products for spring with you all for my northern hemisphere friends, who are, currently, enjoying the sunshine while it lasts. These colours are my favourites during spring time since they're vibrant, contain a lot of pigment and don't crumble on the lips. My favourite out of all these would be the daisy pink shade by Inglot which is my perfect pink and works with a range of skin tones.

Next week I will be posting my top three lip products for fall! Also don't forget to comment down below what your favourite lip products are for spring.

JUNE BEAUTY FAVOURITES

This month, winter truly graced Australia as there has been rain, hails and even a bit of snow (if you count ice balls falling from the sky as snow that is). This month's beauty favourites more neutrals and brown based so if that's your thing then your at the right place my friend.

Urban Decay Naked 1
Everyones favourite and an old classic. This palette has great pigmentation, lasts on the lid all day if used with a primer and bends easily, again if used with a primer and that primer is set well with a powder. My favourite shade from the palette would be 'side car' or 'sin'.

Hourglass Blush in 'mood exposure'
One of my all time favourite blushes! Adds the perfect subtle flush to the checks and works with a range of skin tones. Not super pigmented therefore you have to build it up. The colour however is super flattering and I love the marble effect the actual blush has. Also, fun fact, no two hourglass blush patterns are the same; so yours will be one of a kind!

Becca Shimmering Pressed Powder in 'Champagne Pop'
Honestly, I originally purchased this because Jaclyn Hill created it and she's one of my favourite YouTubers, not just because she's an amazing artist but also because she's such a genuine person. Just like Jaclyn her product is amazing and vibrant. The highlighter is super pigmented and looks amazing on darker skin tones. The highlighter has a pink undertone to it, yellowish undertone to it so it works really well if your skin also has that undertone. Overall, fabulous product, super proud of Jaclyn!

Mac lip pencil in 'whirl'
A very well known product by all Kylie Jenner fans. This shade is a mauve purple, it's a great shade to get if you usually wear light colours and want to start stepping out of your comfort zone a bit considering it's dark and somewhat bold but still safe. Looks flattering on a range of skin tones, especially tanner complexions. The lip pencil is slightly drying, as most of them tend to be, but lasts all day on the lips, even after eating and drinking.

Sheryl xx

STYLE SPOT LIGHT: BELLA HADID

Bella Hadid, the girl whose hit the fashion industry over the past couple of months hasn't only managed to kill it on the runway and shut all her haters up with her hard work and dedication but she's also done a superb job with her street style! Bella's style is street toned with certain outstanding pieces which make heads turn as she walks past. I love how Bella tends to pair denims with black clothing, while in co-operating a trendy piece, like the choker, in the mix. I also love how the oldest Hadid mixes and matches pieces, like paring a short dress which knee high boots, but adding the army and high pony tail twist in it. Bella's style tends to lean towards the edgy side, which has me hoping that she will show us her feminine side very soon and we can see her wearing some mauves and nudes (a girl can dream)

Bella Hadid is officially part of my style file, and possibly inspration board too! Let me know what your thoughts are on Bella's style.

Lots of love,
Sheryl x

M.I.A

Long time no see is a slight understatement. For the past month, I've been MIA, but honestly school has been tough and a break has been the last thing on my mind. I knew year 12 was going to be tough, however tough to the point I forget who I am and what I love doing is not something I was expecting. Recently, I've had a fresh look on things and bringing focus towards important things in life has been one of them. I'm going to try, no cross that, promise that I will post more regularly and post content that I truly believe in. My posts won't be weekly, but they won't be monthly either, I'm going to try and find a balance between school and doing things I love, including running this blog. Please let me know in the comments if there are any blogpost's you'd like to see in the future on my (our) blog.

Lots of love,
Sheryl x
